I'll be talking to the Britain-Burma Society on Tuesday November 25th. I'll be discussing my book 'Another Man's War: The Story of A Burma Boy in Britain's Forgotten African Army'. I'll be looking at the role of African soldiers in Burma, and the links between the current turmoil in Rakhine State and the events in the Arakan of 1942.
It should be fascinating evening, and everyone is welcome.... The Britain-Burma Society meets at The Medical Society of London, 11 Chandos Street, Cavendish Square, W1G 9EB. Admission 6 pounds ( 3 pounds for students). Samosas and coffee at 7pm, and my presentation begins at 7.30 pm.
