I'm delighted to have been invited to the Irrawaddy Literary Festival in Mandalay, Myanmar/Burma, from March 28th-30th. I'll be talking about the forgotten African soldiers who fought in Burma in the Second World War, and in particular, about Isaac Fadoyebo's incredible story of survival. It would be wonderful to see anyone there who is interested in this story. Copies of 'Another Man's War' will be on sale. Much more about the Irrawaddy Literary Festival here. It takes place at the Mandalay Hill Resort Hotel. All events are free, and it promises to be an amazing mix of Burmese and international literary talent. Aung San Suu Kyi is the patron.
